TNWG FOOD REVIEW: Barrafina, London - MICHELIN TAPAS

🍽️🍷TNWG FOOD REVIEW: Barrafina, London 🍽️🍷

Sector: FINE DINING

TNWG Score: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5

🍽️This was the 3rd time I have visited Barrafina (lucky me!) and it still fails to let me down. Trying the Coals Drop Yard Barrafina for a change and yet with wonders like the Soft Shell Crab and Octopus as specials was a delight to behold!

🍽️We really didn't struggle for choices, with Para Picar section filled with scrummy delights from which to pick classics like Pan con Tomate to Ham Croquetas, As the first plates came across from the chefs, who have great dialogue whilst cooking with their customers, you feel as though you are transported to a beach side bar in Spain (sadly without the weather outside to go with it).

🍽️If you are looking for top tiered Michelin esque quality in a Spanish tapas environment then there really is little that beats this place! If you have not been, it is a must on the list if you are in London with now 5 restaurants across the city.

🍷TNWG Rating of the Wine List: 3.5/5

🍷Entry level bottles of Rosado, Blanco or Tinto will set you back around £38 and then with age and speciality can rise to the dizzy heights of a bottle of Vega Sicilia Unico 2012 (maybe next time @barrafinalondon ). As expected, a great selection of Sherries and a good source of Spanish Reds too - I can recommend the El Mago - as a great Garnacha too! Smooth, rich and vibrant in the glass - a perfect marry!

A great place for a super eat!
