Ep 31: TNWG Wine Times: I'm Back!

First and foremost.... I am sorry!

It has been a painful few months as I have tried my best to tackle the WSET Diploma final exams and whilst I need to wait until mid January for the results, the amount of relief after taking them was immeasurable!

I would almost go so far to say, I have finally got my life back again! (Little dramatic perhaps, but you get the point).

Okay, so this week, it is all about showcasing the 'Events, Events, Events'!!

There has been a great outreach in terms of new collaborations, private, corporate and personal requests for wine events, fine wine investments and wine cellar developments alongside the wine brand marketing too.

So I wanted to share with all, the events that you all could book on to in the next 2 months leading up to Christmas and a few insights into what might be around the corner too in early 2025.

🍷🧀🎤 NEW ANNOUNCEMENT - 'THE WINE AND CHEESE NETWORK' 🍷🧀🎤

That is right, it is as it sounds...I am going to be creating 'The Wine and Cheese Network' due for release in February next year (as I know some partake in dry Jan).

The format will be with 1-2 main business speakers each month, so if you would like to have a captive audience whilst they enjoy hand selected wines and cheese from me, then please do contact me to reserve your speaker slot ASAP.

It will be a monthly networking, if anyone would like to know more details please do not hesitate to contact me- thoughts welcome too of course and it will be based in Sheffield.

Last but by no means least, as a reminder to all, here are our services that we provide at The Northern Wine Guy:

To help our clients understand what services we can provide throughout the year and for onward bookings we have given a short list below (but feel free to reach out to enquire if you have any other requirements / requests):

If you are any of the following then we would like to hear from you if you would like us to quote for a professional, bespoke and high quality service:

  • Corporates - it is our job to ensure that we create a bespoke and unique experience for your client events. Where we create the perfect wine, wine and cheese or wine and dine experience.

  • Staff Entertainment - Let us create an in-house experience for your staff to enjoy!

  • Client Presents - one off wine or wine and cheese presents are ideal to say thank you to your clients for the year of collaboration or a great way to kick off a working relationship

  • Wine Podcasts - we run two podcasts (as seen below) to showcase wine products and wine professionals, feel free to speak to us on collaborating on the shows.

  • Networking events - why not look to incorporate a wine accompaniment to those gatherings where you build key long term relationships.

  • Hospitality Collaborations - we collaborate with restaurants and pop up events to showcase bespoke wine pairing menus. We also redesign and advise on wine menus as well as staff training courses created to add depth to their wine and service knowledge.

  • Fine Wine Investing - whether it be for yourself as a personal investment or as a corporate investment, let TNWG know and they can take you through the step by step process of investing in fine wine as an asset - finding out how to add fine wine into your diversified asset portfolio, with two decades of investment experience.

And finally do remember to follow us on Instagram @thenorthernwineguy for more reviews, tips, recommendations and more!

All the best and have a great rest of the week, I hope to see many of you either online at the Beaujolais Night or in person at the events above in the coming days and I will be talking more about wine rather than advertising in future editions again too :)

Bye for now!
